I was born 1970 in Vienna, Austria. My father was a photojournalist, my mother loved photography. I was raised on Austrian bread, cameras, film, prints and the smell of developer in the air. I got my first camera for my 8th birthday and my first start documenting the underground music scene as a teenager. I studied photography at the school of Photography and Audio-Visual Media in Vienna.
I moved to New York in 1996. I now live in Topanga, CA with my wife Sinead and our three young kids Coco, Romy, and Ronan. We love the canyon life, nice beaches and RV trips. My camera work brings me to places all over the world and I strive to document with authenticity, consistency and a sharp eye. I create portraits, lifestyle and beauty images for a wide variety of clients. People tell me I have a talent to find real and authentic moments, easily adapting to any situation. I think of myself as the man with the camera.
